Hey class,
To get this project started, the first thing you need to do is to find someone to interview. They should live in South Hayward, the closer to Tennyson the better. You should select someone who is willing to spend several hours with you, spread out over a few weeks. Someone who doesnt mind their story being told, and having pictures and memories of their life shared.

You may find that the person you are picking should be interviewed along with some one else who "fits" with them in a natural way--a married couple, co-workers, neighbors to each other, etc. In this case, your final project will be about more than one person.
The first thing you need to do is to interview the person/people. The questions below are a start.
- Where do you live in South Hayward?
- How long have you lived/worked/been in South Hayward/your neighborhood?
- What is your history with South Hayward/your neighborhood?
- Why do you live/work here?
- What has your experience been living/working here?
- Thinking about daily your life right now, what currently do you enjoy the most / look forward to the most?
- Thinking about daily your life right now, what do you worry about the most / troubles you the most?
- What are 3 words that come to mind when you think of South Hayward/your neighborhood?
- What song comes to mind when you think of South Hayward/your neighborhood?
- What food comes to mind ? (do you have the recipe?)
The questions should act as conversation starters. If they say something that you think needs to be followed-up on, for sure ask it! If you want to add questions, that is fine too.
