HW for the Thurs nite Eng 4 class.... due on 5-9-19

Hey all!

so, first of all, this week you need to have emailed to me your Project Proposal in PDF form.

NEXT, we are moving into new work.
1. You need to create your first draft of your "Knowledge Garden Brochure"--as we said in class, this is a one page document that holds essential info about your project. This will be displayed in the garden next to your project. Your brochure can hold lots of different info...
If you are growing something, here are some things that can go on your brochure:
Pics of growing Stages, Pics of it, When to grow (seasons, etc), How to grow, Benefits, Nutrition, Predators, How to care for it, Uses of it, History, Varieties of it, ---

If you are making something, here are some things that can go on your brochure:
Pics of it, How to make it, How to maintain it, Materials, Supplies, Budget, How it benefits us.

You can make this in Canva, or you can start it off in a word doc... Remember that a lot of this info you ALREADY HAVE in your project that you turned in....maybe you should pretend that this is DUE on the 9th...

You can make the brochure a single page (both sides), or folded like a real brochure (which might be best)

2.  In our Uninhabitable Earth book, Pls read from 70- 99. Pls answer this question: What are two things in this section of the book that surprised you? (pls do a para for each thing)

3. Pls bring your logo ideas and motto ideas for our Knowledge Garden-- and the motto for your own project ....we will be sharing them on THURSDAY~
