ALL the Homework so far with your blog...

Below is all the HW you have been asked to do so far as we are getting our blogs up and rolling. All this work should be done, so you should be caught up, by next Tuesday, July 23. It is realllllly important that you write as much as you can and really sink your teeth into these prompts. Short one sentence paragraphs are not going to get us where we need to get in our consideration of these complex ideas. You are really expected to deliver a lot in your blog! 

This was the HW assigned on Thursday, July 18th. 

1. Read Into the Wild: (get as far as you can in the book by Tues class.) Here is the question to write about: How do you think this book can intersect with the direction we are going in our class: education, passion, equity/privilege, race/class? You should explore this in writing, and post it-------------try Rule of 3---(3 ways the book can intersect) 
2. Below in another post,  you will find the links to the your classmates' blogs.....browse thru them and read, enjoy, and post a comment to 2-3 different blog posts of your colleagues.... 
3. Post your Andrade video response...WITH your 3 questions that you came up with in class. (Remember that it's best to try to revise and extend your first attempt at coming up with a response. These are difficult and complex issues, so it often takes a while for your ideas to come into focus.) 
4. Finally, try a video embed.....choose a video that you thinks relates to what we are doing..(it can be creatively linked...) write 1-2 paragrpahs in the post about why/how you think this vid relates

This was the HW assigned on Wednesday, July 17th:

1. You are still here! That is cool! But what are the potential deal breakers…in other words, what issues do you face that make thriving in college difficult for you? What strategies do you have for dealing with these potential deal breakers? Pick 2 to write about….still try to do 3-4-5 , try to pull quotes… etc…make it look academic.
2. Experiment---see what you can do to make it cooler--customize. See what you can embed---video---which kinds of video (formats) Pics----stats.. graphs..- can these be posted…Audio? That would be cool….
3. Watch Passion Project movie: Then write a post that addresses these 2 questions:How does the movie speak to you? What is the relationship between Passion and Privilege? (1A classes)  or What is the relationship between Passion and Poverty? (Eng 7 class)
