here is what we are doing....
1. we need to have all our art projects done by next Wed, the 9th of May.
2. You need to put your paper #2, (the interview paper) up in google docs tonight, then share it with me-- smcfarland2011@gmail.com .... You need to proof the paper as best you can tonight--then I will go behind you and clean up any last issues..
3. You need to send me your revised Paper #3 answers to Qs1,2,4,5 ---after we look at them tonight..
4. For the map you need to send me: pics/language/location for the 4 categories that we have--
Stories – (THIS ONE SHOULD BE EASY--bc all your people have a story)When you click on a dot it will show a photo of a community member or something about the community member and some quotes from interviews with the person--you can pick 2-3 quotes from the person... just take it out of your essay or your transcript
History – (ALOT OF PEOPLE TALKED ABOUT THINGS THAT HAVE GONE AWAY... this can be big things like Kaiser, or small things --as long as your person talked about it.. or you can include something here that YOU notice is gone) When you click on a dot it will show an old photo (or a current photo of a vacant lot) and description of a historical event or a feature that used to be in the neighborhood, but is now gone
Assets – (WHAT DID YOUR PERSON TALK ABOUT THAT IS A GOOD THING) When you click on a dot it will show a photo and description of an existing community asset, like a popular park or hangout--
Aspirations – (WHAT DID YOUR PERSON TALK ABOUT THAT THEY WANT TO HAVE HAPPEN IN SOUTH HAYWARD)When you click on a dot it will show a description of a something a community member wants to see at that particular location, with a sample photo when possible
