HW for English 4 class..due this Wed the 6th

Hey there, so here is the HW we assigned last week, that is due this Wed, the 6th.


The first thing is please go to this link:

and print out and read this article.  It is a very famous article about privilege that was written by Peggy McIntosh.

You have some questions to consider after you read it:

1. In your own words, what does "privilege" seem to mean, in the way she is talking about it?
2. What does she mean when she writes, "hierarchies are interlocking"?
3. Look at that list of "26 effects of Privilege"--which ones can you apply to yourself? Which ones do you find most interesting?


Also, we are starting on Laramie Project, by Moises Kaufmann.

I would like you to try to have it read by Wed night so we can start to talk about it.
