1. for sure you should finish your interviews... the main parts.. there still may be follow ups
2. come to class with 3-5 trends that you noticed in the interview. trend means an idea or topic that you found interesting or surprising...
3. come to class with 3 or so ART ideas... if you can... bring the art idea finished to class...
4. also, if you want to do some materials shopping,.. pls do that.. bring the materials and a receipt...
 lets have a $20 budget ...--

• intro of the person
• process of the interview
• 3-5 trends you notice in the interview... para for each.. trend means an idea or topic that you found interesting or surprising...or that interested them
• (you might find that writing some of it in pro-con or compare/ contrast might work)
• you can include your opinions and commentary...
• solutions or visions or ways to make Hayward better...
• Research in it... 3-4 places.. .(pull quotes or put in stats...)
• transcript... raw Q and A.... get as much of it as you can... turn it in...

ART:

video... old , new , you tubed... turn it into mega movie
audio... we should all get some audio... maybe B roll...
artifacts.... stuff that represents what is being talked about...

3. come to class with your specific plan for your art ---what are you doing ? are you working with others? is it  a group or solo project? You should have a very specific plan... to scale... you should keep in mind that you need to tell a LOT of their story up in the art... in other words, you wont just be doing one drawing of the person... --we will have the cardboard here on WED--you can also send email updates... I promise I will read..

1. Send me your amazing BS idea.... via email


2. Keep in mind: VIDEO, AUDIO, PICTURES, --new , old, google.. google earth, newspaper
ARTIFACTS.... FOR ex. .they are into gardens.. and they give you some garden tool...

3. come to class with ideas for how you would make visible 3 ideas that your interviewee said --for ex.. a map that talks about what is gone...

4. need to finish the interviews... add those new questions.. do the re-dos that work for you.. (ask them to define terms, for ex... quiet, nice, bad... those are all not helpful...
