Thursday 1A class ...

Hey all, so it turns out that I am going to San Diego after all. soooo, here is what we are going to do...

Pls email your draft for paper 2 ASAP~ ....no later than friday night.... i will read them and give feedback and email the feedback back to you ...

Then you will revise your paper and turn in a kick butt final hard copy next Thursday.... good luck with it alll.... get the draft to me sooonnn....

Hw for the 1A classes that is due next week:

Hey there, so to help us start to get into the paper #2, we have 3 things we are doing that are all due next week. (Tuesday for Tuesday , Thursday for Thursday)


1. go out to nature …. Spend at least 2 hours….notice what you notice…
you will answer these 2 questions...

A. write about what you notice… use your 5 senses…smell, hear, see, touch, taste…
B. What does it feel like to be out there….(do rule of 2 with this question)

the goal is 1-2 pages of writing...typed up...
how to do this:
dont bring your phone…. you can go to a back yard, you can sit under a small bush, or climb a tall tree... you can stare at ants for 2 hours, you can hop in a car and go to Yosemite, you can go to the bay, you can find a lost river in Hayward, ---find the nature where you find it... dont bring your phone…. spend some quality time with


2. Read the Afterward in LHAS (it starts on pg 357) , and then do Q2 on the essay ass. Rule of 3 it... type it...

3. Skim thru LHAS, read around in the book, and find paras and areas of the book that you can use for Q1 of the essay ass. Be prepared to share what you found with the class....
