no class today, Wednesday, July 1st, I am sick

hey there, i have been sick for the last few days, and its not much better today, so i am not coming in, i am really sorry.

of course, bring your paper essay #1 tomorrow to class.

Meanwhile here is the HW that is due tomorrow:

Pls Read Chapter 3--- p 55-74

for the writing here are the questions:

1. What are 3 ideas in the chapter that make sense to you, in other words, as you read them you are thinking "yea, I get this." Put each idea in your own words and summarize it.

2. What is an idea in the chapter that DOESNT make sense to you? Write about why it doesn't make sense.


you will be doing a total of 4 paragraphs....

I realize that the content in these chapters is pretty theoretical--we will make it more grounded and real when we talk in class....
